Volkswagen готовит к выходу на рынок новую версию большого кроссовера Atlas Cross Sport. Автомобиль отличается от стандартного Atlas более спортивным силуэтом и укороченным кузовом, а под капотом у него установлен 2,0-литровый турбомотор мощностью 282 л.с.

Atlas Cross Sport появился в линейке Volkswagen в 2019 году и представляет собой более компактную и спортивную версию большого Atlas. В отличие от стандартного кроссовера, он получил более покатую линию крыши и рассчитан на пять пассажиров.

Спереди новый Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport практически не отличается от стандартного Atlas. Крупные фары соединены светодиодной полосой, а колесные арки получили расширители.

Главные отличия заметны сзади. У автомобиля увеличен угол наклона стоек крыши и установлен крупный спойлер. Длина Atlas Cross Sport составляет около 4,86 м — примерно на 14 см меньше, чем у стандартного Atlas, а высота достигает 1,73 м.

Из-за укороченного кузова в салоне нет третьего ряда сидений. Интерьер при этом практически полностью повторяет стандартный Volkswagen Atlas 2027 года. Под капотом установлен 2,0-литровый турбированный бензиновый двигатель мощностью 282 л.с. Он работает в паре с 8-ступенчатой автоматической коробкой передач. Полный привод входит в стандартное оснащение.
